Crashing Waves

An amazing display of the power of the surf breaking over a rocky shore.  You can almost feel the force of the high breaking surf as it attacks the rocks and the flow is reversed to constitute the next onslaught.  

Try to imagine what it would be like to be standing on a board high on the wave and actually facing down toward the bottom of the wave.  All of this monumental activity is accompanied by the deafening roar of the crashing surf.  Not many of us choose to have this experience from the internal perspective and we appreciate their valor, allowing the rest of us a remarkable, albeit secondary high.
