Art After Dark at the Art League of Long Island

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the weather and the pouring rain to attend Art After Dark at the Art League of Long Island last evening.  It was wonderful to meet up with old friends and make new ones and also see some fabulous artwork and hear great music.  The Art League was hopping and it was a real success.

The next Art After Dark event will be Friday, March 30th.  Mark your calendars.  Hope to see you there.

Swimmin' With the Kids

 Canada goose family out for an afternoon swim.

I always marvel when I hear geese flying overhead and it sounds like they're having a party as they fly in a V formation.  It's also fun to see them up close and swimming gracefully in the pond.  It is amazing how large these birds are.  I came across these geese at Heckscher Park on Long Island.  Mom and Dad can outswim the babies now, but not for long.
