A native of Philadelphia, Patty comes from a family of talented artists in both painting and music. She studied in Manhattan, with the great watercolorist, Eleanor Segur, and at the Art League of Long Island and workshops with many notable artists.

Patty makes frequent trips to Europe which enables her to explore new subjects, and she continually experiments with new paper and vibrant paints, that stimulates her imagination, and keeps her passion for painting alive. She has a keen eye for detail and strives to create long lasting impressions with her art.

Patty takes inspiration from her garden and love of flowers and their strong vivid colors come through in her transparent watercolors. Her work is represented in private collections throughout the United States. She is a member of the Art League of Long Island and an Associate member of the American Watercolor Society and the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club.
